Katie Stewart’s ‘Aqueerium’ easily lures the eye through innocuous images of everyday life. It invites you to gently dip a toe into the warm aquatics of social interactions that challenge a growing young woman, before wrapping you into an act of transgression that leaves you floundering in a shark tank of trepidation. It is mischievous but honest and as such one can’t help but return to it over again and over again.
